To all those interested, My buddy owns a bar/restaurant in the Rancho Cucamonga area off of Archibald/210 Fwy. He opens early for us every year Thursday morning for the River Run weekend. Our group meets up here at 8 to 9am. Have breakfast and take Route 66 all the way into Laughlin (no freeways). Its a trek but we love it and have a few stops along the way. We are a laid back group so if anyone wants to join just pm me and I'll give you the info. Just so you know, we are in NO HURRY to get to Laughlin, this is strictly about the ride and commeraderie on the way. We have around 4 stops on the way that we typically make for refreshments/lunch so we usually pull into Laughlin a little after Sunset. Again this is a NO FREEWAY ride from Alta Loma to Laughin. All are welcome. Last year we had approx 10 to 12 bikes. Around 20 people so it was a great time had by all. Let me know if you are interested in joining.

Wow! Sounds like an interesting route. Curious if you have a map or turn by turn directions.
Checked Google Maps and couldn't really find a way to get from Alta Loma to Laughlin without at least a little freeway thrown in. I really like the idea of getting there on roads only.

How hard do they come down on you for ape hangers over there? Some guys tell me they will write you 10 tickets for them if they are to high. Thinking about going but I'm not going to change my bars just for that..
My buddy got rolled in Bullhead City last year. They were looking for reasons to pull ANYONE over last year in BHC, Az.
