The Bagger folks have a Sticky for this, so why not here for this bike?

Finally the TallBoy seat came in. The ride home is just under 100km which gave, so just enough to get a good first impression. As a 6 foot 4 guy, I immediately felt this seat improved the ride for me. It sits a little flatter, so you don’t slide forward as much as the stock seat, which then gives u some more room to move around. I found I slouched less, and the arms where much more comfortable, and my legs are less compressed then stock.

But I do wish it was a little harder… it’s still on the soft side. All told, I do recommend this…

The PAS I ordered back in June right before the Laced wheel cut off came in finally. I picked her up last night and rode her 57 miles home. So glad to have it. Now I need all the accessories to come in.

Picked mine up from the dealer. Losing voltage (discharging the battery) due to a bum left hand control module. Fixed quickly under warranty, picked up from my garage free of charge.

Kicked the TC off shortly after it warmed up, and was able to wheelie at will. First ride of any substance since the risers went on. More of an upright "standard" position, but it doesn't blunt the feel when you're cranking on it. Better position standing on the pegs too.

I'd be curious to try the tall seat. In the low position it's an inch taller than the stocker in the high position, right?

I've got to do something different seat wise. Due to a 30 year old back injury, the slope of the stocker gives me sciatica. Going to order the tall one, since it is flatter, then send the stocker to Russell.

Funny.....I've got a blown L5/S1 disc that causes bad sciatica. Between dropping weight, and daily yoga and core exercises, I'm doing well with it. The PA seat and riding position actually works a bit better than the Road Glide's.

Yeah the back thing is crazy, I blew the bottom 2 and had surgery 30 years ago. Agree exercise and weight control is key. I've said before, "I can do anything I want to do, I just have to do some things differently." No doubt I will get the seating position on the PA as I need it to be. The risers seem to be a good start. My wife tripped backwards a couple of years ago, fell on her rear and ruptured a disc bad. She had surgery and 6 months later ran a marathon. She too gets an occasional case of sciatica.

Thanks for answering my question about the seat being flat. The stock seat pushes me forward, which is annoying on long rides. I'm only 6', but I have super long legs. I guess I will be swapping out for the Tall Boy until the aftermarket comes up with something better.

Looking forward to your "night review". I was planning to do the same this week and got caught up in the ride instead. From the install sheet, it looks pretty straightforward... remove tank, remove air box, and connect to the accessory connection.

Took the dealer about 4 hours to install. A clamp under the tank was a pain in the *** he said.
