Found this like new 90L tail bag. Didn't want hard bags so this is perfect. $375 when you can find them, got it for $100 'cuz he lost the straps! Whoop whoop! Fits like it was made for the PAS
I'm looking to order one of these in the UK as they are well priced at present ... I'd like to know if you can tell me how close to the end of the exhaust (SE fitted on mine) the right hand side is; I'd hate to melt anything ...

Thanks in advance ..
If you slide it all the way back to where it is flush with the rear of the rack, there's a little <2" from the top of the OEM muffler to the bag. If you slide it forward to make it flush with the leading edge of the pillion seat (like if you wanted to use it as a backrest), there's nearly 4" of clearance. They really do look like they were made for the bike! I rode home with it just tied down with roxstraps and it didn't even feel warm to the touch, but to be on the safe side, I placed 2 strips of this on the bottom

I forgot to ask ... Have you fitted the top box mount for the tailbag to sit on or simply onto the bodywork as it came out of the shop ?
no mounting at all, just sits on the rack and part of the pillion- the lower bags will come off if you want. on day rides I just use a small tail bag, this is only for the multiple day rides

Thanks - I hoped as much.
I've decided to order one from the SW MOTECH site in Germany directly as they are pretty heavily discounted as they appear to have been replaced but it'll do me ..
