The challenge is that I have to make my own mounts. I don't intend to cannibalize any of the bike. After I get them made, I will send them to the fairing company so they can copy them. I'm sure they will improve on my design. I'm hoping to get them fabbed over this week end. The problem I ran into after they sent me their mock up fairing, which is actually the bottom 3" of the fairing, was a clearance issue with the tank. I couldn't tell if the wide and differently shaped gas tank would prevent me from getting the fairing rearward enough for proper positioning, or if the horizontal and lateral positioning would be good. If everything goes to plan I think it will look and work really well. Because of the engine and suspension of the PA, it will make " ME " an even better Sport Touring bike with the addition of this fairing. Some people won't "get it", but I do, at least in my dreams. We will see!
