Thought I'd share this for those who were debating on purchasing the kit. I added that bolt on kit thats been floating around the aftermarket to my crashbars. I know it won't do much if I crash at a higher speed but at least if I tip it over I'll have some extra cushion.
I threw some bags onto them and they help block the cold air when I'm riding. Assuming my bike wants to start when its cold.
