I've tried a few different headsets with my 2022 Pan America now and can't find one that properly works when paired to the bike. They all function great when connected directly to the phone but having the handle bar controls function as intended is something I would really like.
The first headset I tried was a Lexin G16. It worked great but volume is toned down approx 30% making it unusable on the highway. They sent me an older model to test but same issues.
The second headset I tried was the SENA SLR2 that mounts inside my GT Air 2. Volume is perfect WHEN it works. For some strange reason the audio cuts out every couple seconds when paired to the bike.
Phone is a Iphone 13 Pro Max
Has anyone experienced these issues? Any sort of work around without taking the bike out of the equation?

Thanks in advance.
I think the phone sees the bike as another phone, be sure you're pairing it that way, and be sure the volume is all the way up on the phone
The other thing I find is that if you get messages or notifications on your phone the music or navigation directions pause until the phone has dealt with the message or notification. Its not too much of an issue just a bit disconcerting in the beginning.

Ill try that next time I ride, thanks.

No this is a split second cutting out and back on but it happens every 1-3 seconds at which point I just turn it off. Im familiar(and ok) with the notifications when I had the other headset but with the SENA its a constant on/off which makes audio unplayable.
Does this happen when you have the map screen up if it does switch to the home screen and see if it goes away I have found if the maps screen is downloading sections or updating the volume cuts out on the music

unfortunately no, but I have noticed the HD app opens every-time I run my bike. Let me try disabling that and see if there is some sort of interference.

Very strange, Ive not noticed that with with my iPhone 13 Pro and my Schuberth C4 with SC1 communications package (made by SENA), sorry, I dont know what to suggest, Ive found SENA products to be very reliable.
