Default Triple Tree Question

Hello, new to forum. Got a question for you guys. Recently bought another rolling chassis 56 straightleg. The triple trees on it are stamped "universal". Are these real Harley trees or aftermarket? I've never seen these before. Here's a picture of another set i saw on ebay. Thanks

That's aftermarket lower triple tree. HD casting numbers are different. I haven't heard of that brand but it sure looks to be made decently. There is also a stamped number by the neck which is probably the equivalent of a part number or serial number for that piece from the company (Universal) that made it.

It appears to be an aftermarket copy of an early style tree. The stem is different than a stock tree in that it is not drilled and taped for the damper assembly. I also couldn't tell whether it has the hole for the fork lock in the stem which they had until 68. The two holes for the headlight mount was last used in 59.
