Hi, I'm seeking a new, or newer, tach mounting bracket for my 67 Shovelhead, (H-D oem part# 92080-65), you know, the one that mounts on the handlebar cover on the FL's ? My original one finally gave it up after years of riding & vibration fatigue. I'd kept it going with welds & washers, but it's cracked in several areas now & I had to remove it. You'd think that this is an item that would have been made as an aftermarket item years ago, but I guess there wasn't a big enough call for them for any of the companies to bother with, and I sure haven't seen any at the swaps or on E.B. of late
So, would anyone out there have one in decent shape that they'd care to part with for a reasonable price ? My 67 is one of my favorite rides among the four Harleys I have & not seeing the tach there when I swing my leg over to go for a putt just makes me feel somewhat odd.
