that fork assembly really likes - 30 weight lawn motor oil - not what the book calls for - and buy a new set of springs - and if the tubes are iffy - they sell hard chrome tubes - hard chrome is what they use to chrome bearing races with - really works well - the anaulator bottom nut today we use the ultra gray on the nut but I add a brass washer and glue it all - I also put the big gasket in no glue - but the small one I do glue so the oil stays in the fork - glue both sides of it lightly - put it in a paper towel fold it over and pat it a couple of times putting on a clean spot each time you pat it down - if you do that you will see what I do and what it looks like before installing - it will have a haze if glue only
nothing worse then putting it all back together and then see oil drips - and hand tight the nut good but no gun on it as the threads are not real strong squirt a little along the sides of the cog also before installing the nut and 5/16 thin brass washer
nice you think no one understands that someone drill 4 holes in the frame of that bike
why are you on this site if you think ( I am sure they would know better than any one here.) you most be pretty stupid then being on this site - maybe your slumming
Yeah. I am pretty stupid. My wife tells me that all the time.
