Eman85, as the second owner of a 65FLH the biggest thing I see with folks selling them is that they believe they are sitting on a gold mine. Original paint bike will always be worth more than an almost correctly restored bike. A lot I have seen offered for sale make the statement that the bike is restored but closer inspection reveals a bike with lots of repop parts and lots of incorrect parts.
There is a guru by the name of Bruce Palmer who has published a book on HD restoration. His third edition covers 1936 to 1965 models..The two volume set is about 150. Lots of great information and worth the money spent. you find a project, this is the companion worth having when you look at the bike..
Side note, if you see his two earlier editions, they only cover 1937 to 1964 models. Also, he has done his best to make corrections on his earlier editions.

Pretty sure I'm the second owner of this one, too late to find out now but I've had it almost 50 years. I'm realistic about condition and I know mine is at project status now.
Its a nice bike. Get it running and you can list it for free on ebay with a reserve you're comfortable with. If you bought it 50 years ago you probably have $1500 into it, you'll do very well.

I know it needs some things just to be rideable, tires and other rubber would be first on the list. The look isn't as much of a concern as what needs to be done to make it a rider. Paint isn't bad though for over 40 years old.

LOL that would be a nice bike to add to the stable, but I have three or four projects ahead of me when I finish my FXR. I also like the FX series better. (How much are you thinking?)
