Its cheaper in the end to spend 25 thousand on a sort of original 58 to 64 if your able to kick it - the 65 is a rolls Royce in pricing

48 is also out of limit - 1950 to 57 is a hard tail kicker only as well as the 58 to 64 -

just so you know converting the right and expensive electric starter to a pan that did not have one doing it your self in parts is 4500 US dollars

the others are junk and take original pieces and turn them into junk to get it to work - sure 1/2 the money and not in the end what you would have wanted

I have been riding a Heritage since’07 , on my second one now, might to try to find an older one that has a caberator instead of injected.

An EVO then, Twinkies were only injected unless you make the conversion. I've had 3 twinkies, currently a 2013 RK standard. Love it.

58-64 Panhead is what I am also looking for, if a Big Twin Flathead does not find me first. I will live with the kick only, but that just means you MUST make it run properly = $$$$$$$$

If you want a push button and need to stay lets say under $10k, the Evo bikes are hard to beat. Find the least abused or modified one you can locate, do some maintenance and then ride the thing cross country. HD had it right with those bikes, very reliable, if not lightning quick. Shovels are coming up in price for sure and they need extra levels of love to be reliable, it takes time and patience.

Good luck.
