Front terminal board - Springer PH
New to the forum, thanks in advance for any help.
I have a project, a 48 frame, a 48 front, a 61 motor, I am making an open front bobber, and i have a new replica wiring group. All diagrams make sense, except ---
The wiring diagram shows a front terminal block, located behind the horn I think. I am not using the horn in the front, (I will locate elsewhere), only headlight, dimmer, and horn button. I have the replica springer bars with internal cloth wiring, four wires.
The diagram of where to connect all the wires makes sense, except, on the front of the terminal block diagram, one terminal is red, and connects to the terminal block, and does not continue ( no other wire connects to it , on the front anyway, I am sure it connects to something on the back of the fiberboard terminal), the other mystery terminal is yellow, which also does not have a linking wire on the front of the board, but must connect to something on the back,??
As I do not have the terminal board to look at, I do not know what occurs on the back of the board, maybe linked with solder, plates, or wire or something.
I am going to make my own, smaller terminal board, but any help on where the two, or more unknown terminals go to. I think they should not just connect to the front of the board, and terminate, this does not make much sense???? But, I could be totally off on this.
Any and all help, appreciated.
