Nice find, I am just starting to look around for another Pan, I really miss my old one. You should have a blast with this which ever way you go.

Sweet ride. I just started a pan project with a 58 frame, 62 motor. Enjoy!

My first Harley was a Pan chopper hope to have another Pan some day.
Nice find great potential keep us posted with more pics.

Man that looks like a great find, great find..Pans are kewl, slab shovels are better, hehehe.. heres some pics of the one i just finished, before and after..now i will try and sell all the stuff i have left over form the build..ruben

I don't think H-D's lower legs ever had that boss wrap all the way around for the fender mounts like those, prob after mkts. The frame and motor are the important part anyway. If I had something like that I'd go with a stock Hydra Glide look, keep the rigid frame, have fun, thats what its all about.

The straight leg frame came out in 57. I have a 56 that has the wishbone frame that the pans had before that year. I have had mine since 1974. I remember cutting off all the "extra" tabs, like the sidecar mount loops, and wish I hadn't, but too late now. I had fun building my chopper with 12" over Fury springer. But I started putting mine back stock in 1983. Wish I had bought an aftermarket frame instead of cutting up a good frame.

Oh the Memories! I ran a 1957 Pan many-many years ago.I am surprised to see no suspension as 1957 was the last year for hardtail?
