Minor details were changed on the 48 to Early 54 wishbone frames. The early 48 frames had an unmachined steering dampner pin boss. Early 49 frames had round tubes where the horn bracket is welded. Late 49 to early 51it is flatened on the motor side and the horn mount is threaded 10-24. Late 51 threaded 12-24. 48 to 51 have a vertical tool box bracket and a top motor mount that goes forward. 52 and later newer style top motor mount with date code. Inverted U shaped tool box mount. 54 frames have no horn brackets on the front tubes.

Thanks again FilthyLucre, sounds like you sure know your pans. I will be investigating further. I'm sure you noticed how molded my frame is, so it's impossible to see any no's on upper motor mount, unless when I take it apart to paint, I do a little sandblasting as well. Sure hope it warms up soon, being a fellow Floridian I'm sure you're sick of this too!
