I'm putting my pan back on the road. I'm running dual discs in the front and I want to replace the mech rear with a disc.
Does anyone know if there's a kit available or parts I could use to do this?
Thank you lots in advance.
Check with Performance Machine. Almost certain they still make a custon set up for a rigid mount rear disc. This is a pic of a 52 I once owned that i set up with PM dual disc on front and PM rear disc. Only needed to weld a tab for the rod securing the disc to the frame.
Thank you for your quick reply. That rear disc looks KICK ***!! I'm going to that Performance site as soon as I send this reply.
I'll let everyone know how it all works out.
Thanks panz4ever. After checking out PM, I binged "Sportor" and visited alot of sites. I ended up ordering a kit from Liquid Choppers and manufactured by Hawg Halters. Should be here in a week or so. I'll try to post pics
I'll bet you miss that beauty Maybe the rigids got to Ya
Yeah she did...owned her for 19 years. Went from a project to a custom. Only sold it to help pay for my daughter's college education. No regrets...she went on to grad school with a major in bio-chem and is working for a respected firm out here in Kali.
Working on a stock (close as I can get it to my liking) 49EL now

Please do when you get the assembly. Been out of the custom stuff for awhile now. Lots of new companies filling the voids left in the ashes of others.
