64 panhead oil problems
Update since my last post. I took the bike to Underground Cycle in Riviera Beach Florida and they found the oil pump inner gear key in the bottom of the Cam Case, I guess I didn't have it in. The bottom end had 3 ouarts of oil in it, so the oil pump was putting oil into the motor and not returning it to the oil tank, also the oil was being pushed up into the heads causing the oil to blow out the front pipe and it also was pushing oil into the primary thru the crank shaft, They also found scoring in the oil pump body and replaced it and replaced the crank shaft seal with a contact seal. So she runs great and no smoke. However the Primary Chain oiler still cannot be shut off, but it's only a fine mist and it's fine, they said to correct it I would have to replace the pump with an S&S oil pump.
