Default nother engine question!

so I need to replace the intake valves, both heads. the exhaust valves are good, seats, stem, runout, etc. can't seem to find any oversized intake valves, but the one is an oversized valve in the rear head! only valves listed that I can find are for exhaust. the valve has h.d. and a part #, so thinking o.e.m.. question is, other than exhaust valve being .020 longer is there any other reason that I can't use an o.s. exh. for an intake and shim the spring pack to spec.?

my guess your working on a pan head the valves are some what different

intake - 1.705 head diam - .3765 stem diam - 3.800 overall length

exhaust 1.750 head daim - .365 stem diam - 3.820 overall length

i think i might have an over size pan intake i will look tomorrow i do not believe they sell the good ones any more only the china junk valves / holding in your hand they almost dont look round

i think its the rocker arm that is the reason the exhaust is longer

hey i found that i have 2 intake well i believe they are intake you can never tell with the china stuff anyway

head diam - 1.878 / 1.877 -- stem diam - .374 / .375 - and they are 3 .750 or about that ( long ) nothing from china is actually the same every time they are what appears to be coated or an attempt to coat them again its china and yes i am like most forced to use them as the real company ROWE has closed up shop and left a big void

PM me if you want them its the last ones i have and i do not know if i can get the same ones again so i have to sell them as a pair - i have a paypal account and can ship tomorrow
