Default Linkert main jet
I just replaced the float and needle and seat in my type M Linkert. This may be a dumb question but is the main jet supposed to protrude up into the Venturi or does it remain in the well below the level of the Venturi?

From the drawing in the knucklehead manual the nozzle comes almost half way through the ventrui. Page 120
