stupid question probably but need help
On a panhead rocker box whats everyone doin just gettin the bolts as tight as u can or you torque them down. Anyone using lock tight on them?

careful on tightening those. Steel screws in old aluminum will strip very easy. It was a poor design and they tried several fixes over the years. They increased the number of screws, then they used D rings and different gaskets. Just snug them up and hope for the best.
