Default Head gaskets

Hey everyone.. FNG here… Im got a 04 Roadking,,, and I have a question, and hoping some of ya'all can lend a little knowledge. Im deployed to Afghan at the moment, so I had a buddy of mine run my bike some just to run it before winter sets in good. He emailed me back and told me the head gasket is leaking. Said it wasn't bad,, but leaking none-the-less. My question is there any special tools that Im going to need to do this?? Im a mechanic of over 20 years,, just never once turned a wrench on a bike. Ive got torque wrenches and such,, Im just wondering if there is any "special" crap I need to do this??

I appreciate any and all info given..
thank you, Kelly

I've done my engine 3 times and as far as I can remember the only "special" tools you'll need are dog bone adapters for the hard to reach rocker cover bolts right underneath the back bone of the frame. I also found that a 1/4" ratchet and torque wrench were very useful.
You can check with Cometic, they sell a nice rocker box rebuild kit which includes the gaskets and seals to close up your rocker boxes once you're done.
