Go the RG torn down in order to get the paint and body work done. Painting the lowers, inner and outer fairings, and the gas tank after fixing the dent. Color is 2005 Yellow Pearl. 1st estimate came in at $1500. Sounds a tad steep. Any painters on here?
that sounds about right for a color paint job... to fix a dent, paint tank, fairing and inner... 100% on point to what i would think... also, do not paint you fork lowers. powder them, unless you are talking about the lower fairings if that is what you are talking 1500 is a great deal!
cost on just the paint alone is $168.48 for a 1 pint kit
not including reducer
still need tape, sandpaper, spraygun, compressor, primer ,clearcoat....... so that sounds like a good price to me also.. and I havent even gotten to the labor costs hahaha

I've been a painter/autobody repair for almost 30 years and I agree. Great deal considering the cost of the materials!
If you are painting only the lowers, tank, inner and outer fairing in a stock factory color, $1500.00 is the right amount for a top quality paint job, but if you contact joe@colormaniapaint.com and tell him Tom said you should beat $1500, he will give you a much better deal!
We have all OEM factory color tones in stock and guarantee perfect color match in writing.
