"... my Dad has been filling in at a church 70 miles north of here for the past year. He was doing this because the Pastor, who is in the National Guard, was sent over seas. The Pastor had served his tour and was on his way home. He made it to Germany and suffered a heart attack and passed away. His services are this Sunday."

"Col. Gordon Oglesby, he was a chaplain in the National Guard, last serving in Greece. He was involved in putting on Bible schools there. He was returning home, and about to retire from Guard. He was in Germany when he suffered heart attack and passed. His wife's name is Elizabeth "Liz". They had at least 1 daughter who was put in a home just prior to his shipping out to Greece. 1 son and g-son. He was Pastor at Grace Temple Baptist Church in Kermit Texas. His services are tentatively set for this Sunday 2 pm Kermit Texas."
