solid crank sprocket?
OK, two comps/starter clutches gone in 22000 miles.
03 fatboy with 103 kit.
I ride it like a old man(cause I am one).
starter clutch (all *****) went out this am .
pulled the primary off and saw where one of the bellview springs had cut
clean through the comp housing( I cut my finger on it)
no tension in the destroyed compensator.
I am going to put a solid sprocket in the beast unless someone tells me why not.

thanks the reply, I have the original comp.
thinking about adding a belleview spring out of the junk comp.
would almost be a solid sprocket..??
that way would still have the weight, might reduce the vibes ?
what are the Idea's
