Needing a new primary cover

Previous owner stripped out 4 of the bolt holes for the primary inspection cover and poorly re-threaded them. So, I'm going to replace the cover. Any reason to go with something other than a factory Harley replacement?

Have you thought about turning cover and aligning between existing threaded holes and making new threaded holes?
Can't hurt at this point. Then run a flat gasket instead of the o-ring type.
Can't remember if primary is beefed up at threaded holes or same thickness all the way around.
Just a thought.
