Default Primary Cover Crossbones
I changed my Outer Primary cover on my Crossbones. Looking at my old Primary I see a Large "Mushroom Looking" Bolt screwed to the inside of old outer primary cover. I dont; remeber this on my new cover and didn't transfer it. What is the part? and is it needed? It seems to bolt in where the "Shifter shaft" in a mid control Dyna would have been if there was a hole in the Primary case.

I noticed the same thing when I bought a powdercoated primary. I think that it may be some sort of support. I have not had any problems with the cover that did not have it.
