Was all brand new parts cleaned and torqued to spec got about 15,000km what will fix this or upgrade .my only idea is that Jim's big nut and going with aluminum evolution industries pulley lighter rotation mass
The splines on the main drive gear may be worn, allowing the sprocket to wobble on the shaft.
Replace the main drive gear, the sprocket (use a steel OEM sprocket).
Replace the spacer and all the seals and the nut and screws, of course.
2004 ..5speed I used a 34 tooth Andrew pulley for around 7 years no problems I 5th gear looked good when assembled few.years ago and yes its no good now looking for a replacement number for 2004 5 gear main drive now
The stock stuff is fine as long as you replace all the worn stuff.. You need to follow the torque spec in the SM.. In this case, you'll need a pulley, MDG, MDG bearing, pulley spacer, nut, locking plate and screws minimum.
Think i found my problem suppose to be 8 thou and it's around 10 or 11 runout probably doesn't help with high-speed wobble
to bad
Are you serious?
You have been given sound advice on how to fix the issue, replace the main drive gear, the matching gear on the countershaft, the big ball bearing, sprocket spacer, sprocket, lock, nut, screws...
You cannot measure runout on the left end of the mainshaft when it is not supported by a bearing, you are wasting your time.
