Default B&M Trick Shift for the Primary

Read a couple of postings where some use B&M Trick Shift in the primary, was it the synthetic type or the dyno flavored? Any thoughts on using either?

I used non synthetic only because BDL said not to use synthetic. I love it!

i used the stuff moons ago and it was a good product. whether it was dino or syn, good ?. however, it was based off dextron gm stuff and its base was syn way back when. now as far as the trick part, when you added a shift kit to the tranny ( done chevy and dodge) it had a friction modifier to help the clutch pack to lock up. to make a tranny comfortable to motoring public, they use accumulators and control bleed to make it shift smooth as a baby's behind. the kit removes this feature and the shift is instant, aka, no slip!
compatible with hd clutch material, another good ?.

Well, whether regular atf is as good as any other. B&M wasn't that expensive. I'm glad I switched over. I just now put it in the trans, and took her around the block. ( I did the primary earlier this week and was happy with that much).
I'm happy so far. Riding tomorrow, so I'll really be able to tell the difference with it in the tranny. So I'm glad you guys told me ( and everyone else) about ATF. I'll Not go back to Harley Syn 3. And believe me, I know every bike might be a lil different. Mine is 30 years old. But, I think I found her "formula". The blue color kinda threw me for a second .lol

Never tried the B&M but I'm a long time fan of Mobil 1 syn ATF mixed with 4 oz. Lubeguard highly friction modified ATF supplement. WAY less 1st gear KLANK, smoother shifting.

At about 20k on the bike there was zero comp wear.
