Default BDL's New Compensator

Does anyone have any first hand experience with BDL's new compensator, for the 07' Touring Bikes? I am not a big fan of the SE comp., that is in my bike now. I think it is very heavy, and since I have to use HD Formula Plus, my Pro Clutch doesn't feel as good as it did with ATF, and we know what that stuff does to the SE comp. The stock comp. held up great, but everyone had me scared about it failing. I think the IDS helped it survive.

I didn't get the memo. I'm about to drop an SE compensator kit into my '07 RKC. Can you elaborate? What "stuff" does "what" to the SE comp? Thanks!

Anything other than HD's Formula Plus primary fluid seems to increase the wear of the SE compensators, dramaticly. Do a search on the compensator and you will see what we are talking about.

If this indeed is true then all the SE bikes will have bad compensators as they have SYN3 in there from the factory. I run 20w50 in my primary and have since new with an SE compensator. I think you may have the wrong info. Maybe I'm wrong and mine will blow up

No wrong info here. When was the last time you inspected it? There are plenty of pictures posted on this forum, that will explain what I am talking about.

I only have a couple of thousand miles on mine. I am refering to all the excessive wear issues, that have been discussed in length, on this forum. It's nothing to freak out about, it's just that they have issuues, are very heavy, and require special consideration when it comes to lubrication, if you want them to last a long time. Do a search on 'SE Compensator".
