5th gear change out
has anyone changed there 5th gear (2002 flhr) to equal the 6 th gear ratio ie new 6 speed transmissions? or is it worth the time o r can not be done etc....

Forget it; not going to get into the weeds as to why but there are many reasons.
Best bet is to convert to a six speed or change drive pulleys. Not sure why you want to do this anyway. The 5 speed is a bullet proof tranny and, IMHO, the ratios are suitable for touring.
