oil leaks from primary when ideling

oil leaks from primary when ideling
my 05 dyna wide glide leaks alot of oil from primary when I am cruising but not when in idle.would that be an outer or an inner primary problem?

Sounds like the inner primary bearing seal leaking to me. I had same symptoms on my '04 Dyna. Course, by time I got stopped & noticed the trail of primary lube behind me, the lube was nearly all gone. Your primary bearing race may have walked inboard, opening a gap between main shaft & seal. Sounds like primary tear-down time.
