Let me refresh this topic. I`ve got a question. This 1 1/2" socket will fit on 1988 FLHTC compensator nut? Also, what size is clutch hub nut in 1988 FLHTC? Sevice Manual (Clymer) doesn`t say anything about nut sizes. Illustrations show that there is a different hub nut in my EVO and different on later models 91-98. Think I got lost on these pictures.... I want to order sockets from UK as my alternator went off last week. Bike is still in one piece so I cant check the size.

Thanks for any help.

1-1/2" is the size for the compensator nut.

1-1/8" is the size for the clutch hub nut for `89 and earlier (diaphragm spring type) clutch hub nuts.

Remember, the clutch hub nut is left hand thread.
