A plain old pair of pigskin work gloves for $14.oo off Amazon. Don't need no $60.oo HD fingerless jobbies or Walter Mitty super bike racing gloves.

Never run fingerless gloves myself.
Always thought that were a bit on the silly side.
Chaps not far behind them either.

I went with Bear Wallow Gauntlets. Can wear these almost year round here in the Great NW. Great customer support and reasonably priced too.

I have a really nice pair of HD gloves I use in cool weather. Other than that, I wear $14 deerskin gloves from Menards.

Fingerless gloves are great! When I get bored on the slab I can just set my cruise control and play my banjo!

HD Mesh for summer, HD leather for cool, I have a pair for winter that's 26 years old, don't know the brand & HD Gortex waterproof for rain. I order some online & they never fit. HD has a big selection, but there not cheap.

Full finger deerskin gloves in the spring & fall, 1/2 finger deerskin gloves in the summer. I prefer wearing gloves but full finger gloves are too hot for summer wear. It's not an "image thing" but rather what's more comfortable.
