This is a great product. The intercom works great whether we are riding two up or on seperate bikes. The blue tooth work great with cell phone. Low wind noise and super clear. Got mine new on Ebay.
Ok I'm gonna throw my opinion into the mix.I had an Autocom intercom for a while..the wires to the bike drove me crazy,so I got a pair of the Blueant interphones...at first they seemed pretty good..no cables tying me to the bike and all...HOWEVER...in practical usage they are only good for 4-4 1/2 hours, our rides usually last longer than that so I started trying to have lunch somewhere that I could find an electrical outlet to charge them, but even if I found outlets I didn't stay at lunch long enough to fully charge them all the way so by the end of the day we had NO intercom.
Another problem we had was it seemed like most of the time we were yelling "what" to each other all the time instead of just talking...I thought it was a problem with one of the units so I called Blueant, they replaced one of them..It didn't help so they replaced the other one..still no help. After trying them for about 8 months they finaly gave me my money back on the units.(customer service was VERY good).
I have since gone back to another Autocom set up and I once again am happy(other than the cables). I have tied it into my Road Glides radio(I can control the music and such in my helmets with the handlebar controls) tied in my zumo,my bluetooth phone, and can add bike to bike radios if I want. LOVE MY AUTOCOM!!!
ok...gonna give em another try....last year they pissed me off so bad i powerslamed my helmet...got me a new helmet now and got em both on the charger....hopin now i have proper instruction on gettin em to see each other i can ride and talk to wifey with no aggervation
ok...here's my problem.....it has a plug that connects the mic/earphone to the unit....5 little pins in there....i caveman'd the pins soon after purchase....too dumb to figg'r it out til i slammed a good helmet....called bluant, new ones on the way for free ....goin to my anger management class now since i quit smokin pot years ago
Wife has a full face whereas I prefer the 1/2 helmet style. Has anyone attempted attaching a BlueAnt system to a half helmet? On their web site they refer to "2 clip mounts included - Clamp mount and Adhesive" Will this work with a half helmet or am I looking at acquiring a new lid that will accommodate this product? Thanks

hello
but blueant doesnot work for me. I bought the interphone new f4 after listening alot about it, but It is clunky to use and the voice quality over 60km is ordinary. so I still cant use my mobile while riding
@ chemist
I agree with you. I had bought the original blue ant about an year ago, wasn t impressed by the quality, lot of pain pairing them for bike to bike and one stop working after 2 weeks.... won t buy that cheap gadget in a near future....
