Was on the Gulf Coast a few years ago, St Pete Beach, in the cities, be alert, very busy in the city, out of town better. On the Atlantic side, better riding for sure. Good luck what ever you do. Enjoy

Come on down winter is our best riding time here in South florida. Lots of back roads east of Fort Myers with very little traffic and the Everglades are beautiful, Riding around lake Okeehobee is ready nice lot of little towns. There are crazy drivers everywhere, it's no different than where you live. You have a blast here.
I trailer my Ultra Classic every year From central NY to Bonita Sorngs, Fl., not far south from you. Lots of good riding here in the winter and some good bike night events in both Fort Myers and Cape Coral. I'm here from late October until early April, did 3500 miles last season and only 1800 while home in NY for the summer. Check out the Florida Crew. Don't leave home without it!
