Don't worry - if I want to accuse you specifically of saying something, I'll be very, very specific. Notice that I said "most" and not "all".

But it's all good, man! I have no issues with you - I'll even share my beers with you!

My wife's best quote about her experience at Sturgis was, "It was nothing like I expected it to be." I believe her opinion was forged by all the videos on youtube. I'll be there for the 75th, but I'm not sharing my beer.

No really. I was offered a ride there this year. Just the thought of it being the 75th and hearing everybody wants to go for this one. I don't know, I might change my mind. No, I'm not sharing my drinks either. LOL

Well, don't get me wrong - I'm not sharing the good stuff. I usually keep a 6-pack of Natty Light or Milwaukee's Best on the bottom of the cooler for sharing! LMAO!

Curt1953,

You have to go to expierence it. To say there will be no traffic jams (which no one has said there will not be) would be a fib. But I agree with everyone else in saying people make it sound like the whole rally is standing on your bike the entire time waiting in traffic. Realize the rally is not just about the town of Sturgis. This thing is spread out over a lot of South Dakota and even Wyoming. I wouldn't be afraid of 1 million bikers over that entire territory. Most people who go spend time in Sturgis at night to party at the bars downtown or at Full Throttle or the Chip. The majority of the time should be spent riding the country side and the Black Hills. Going over to Devils Tower in Wyoming. Stopping in the little town of Hulett, WY on the way to Devils Tower. I suggest Wed for what they call pantieless Wed. Then on the way back toward Sturgis hit up Sundance, WY (Home of the Sundance Kid) for the burn out contest. There is so much riding to do and sites to see that one or two nights partying downtown is enough because the rest of your schedule will be full. Trust me you and your bike won't melt.
