Default I'm Certifiable (again)

Just received the Iron Butt certificate for my last ride.
Here is the ride report:
https://www.hdforums.com/forum/road-...s-57-mins.html

They certified the ride and adjusted the mileage to 1,538 miles. That is an increase of 10 miles over what I submitted.

Very fast certification, but I do everything I can to make sure they have everything they need , neat and orderly.

Officially it was 1,538 miles in 20hrs 57 mins.

Wow! Congrats on achieving your goal. That's a lot of miles in just under 21 hours.

Fantastic.

Me and a buddy are going to make an attempt on the 1500 IBA to Sturgis. We will have to loop out east to get the 1500 but thankfully there is a wedding he has to "visit". (Short visit)

We will be rolling and it should work out just fine.

Good luck to you.
1500 in 36 hours with a wedding included is a challenge.
You won't be staying for the reception will you?

You can't ride fast enough to make up for slow stops.
Other than the wedding, 10 minute stops. Keep your *** in the saddle and the wheels turning.

Ride through boredom, stop as soon as you are tired.

No we won't be staying for the reception.

It is buddy's wife's cousin who is getting married.

Basically a quick hello & congratulations stop and stands up ASAP. Buddy says he needs a card and a rock. Sign card and slow to 20. Attach rock to card and toss as we ride by. I said he better stop and say hello. I'll check tires and fuel up both motorcycles. Probably a 2 hour stopover. Dunno if an hour shuteye is good or bad. We shall see.

Then keep on keepin on. The timeline is all planned out. The magic is we should have a bunch of time (4 hr) or so for bump.

We shall see how it all shakes out.
