Hey, you cant have too many Sturgis Threads. We are riding out from Woodland Wa. July 30th. I-5 to hwy12 to 82N and then I-90 East. anyone else running that route?
I am coming on I-90 from the west. I should stand out even though I am an old gray hair with a gray goatee and black MC themed
t-shirt.
The reason for that is I will be on a 750 Street (black of course) with all my camping gear in a huge hiking back pack. Yes, I still lay on the cold hard ground in a leaking tent at 75 yoa. When I get old I will get a toy hauler.
Oh! And I will be going the new 80 mph speed limit on I-90 this year. Except for the many construction zones between Minnesota and Rapid City.
From San Francisco I'm on I80 all the way to the middle of Wyoming before I head a bit northeast. I've done this route many times. It is boring but fast. I'll spend some time in Sturgis before heading to Colorado to explore the high mountain passes there. It's getting close to that time and I am getting excited.

What days are you gonna be there, and where are you staying?
