For those traveling on I90 passing Wall S.D. I recommend taking a couple of hours and traveling the Badlands Loop either entering at Wall or at the exit 20 miles east of Wall.
We took that 40 mile ride yesterday and it was very interesting and unique.
For those who are trailering; find a place to pull off and unload the bike and take the ride.
The Loop in a cage just isn't the same.
Any buffalo along that ride? I'll be there next week. Hope you have a great trip!
No buffalo but lots of big horn sheep and deer.
As you are traveling along the Loop try to picture what it must have been like to see all the "Outlaws" that chose the Badlands to hide from the law back in the 1800s wild west days.

I love going through the Badlands early in the morning. Beautiful ride. I talk with a friend that went through on Sunday and said they had to follow a pilot car through some construction.

Yea about 6 weeks or so ago they discovered some issues with the road.
Likely due to all the rain this past Spring.
Anyway, the one lane temp. road is not that bad and the is only about 50 yards or so.
I will say going West to East it is up hill so that they may seem a little challenging for some due to the gravel but it's not any big deal.
