lots of nice roads in the Ozarks of Missouri and Arkansas. You may want to pack some long johns it can get real cool in the mornings that time of year.
There is no fee for the ferry. I rode it last year and it was a neat experience. Some GPS units may have a hard time with this so I would recommend planning your route ahead of time. These are some good roads. This is only about a 3 hour ride.
If you are wanting to go a little further I would recommend going down to the Ponca Wilderness area and maybe changing the route a little bit. AR 7 South of Harrison is really a good m/c road. Head to Jasper and take AR 74 west to Ponca. Then north on AR 43 which will take you back to the southwest of Harrison.
The Eureka Springs area has some incredible riding. The city of Branson itself can be extremely congested. Peel Ferry is a unique experience something everyone should do at least once when in the area. Alot of the outer roads around the Branson area are good as well. When driving down the strip prepare for a lot of stop and go and sitting time, things can overheat quickly.
Have you seen the Ozark bucket list thread? How far is a day? You could do long days and take in push mountain. All the North / south roads between 23 and push mountain are good rides. Pig trail was still closed 2 weeks ago. I did 75 west loop from Branson back to Eureka Springs and then south on 23 to the road closed sign based on forum advise. On a Tuesday morning 5 miles west of Branson there was no traffic. Mixed pavement surface.
