Default HD Ride Planner Problems

Good morning everyone,

I have been trying to plan a route via the HD webpages Ride Planner for the past week or so and have had problems. I cannot seem to get the site to load intiially; it keeps telling me that I must start over (however when I start over it tells me the same thing).

Anyone out there mind helping me out with my ride planning.

Start - Fredericksburg, VA
Finish- Myrtle Beach, SC

I have mapped it out via mapquest and google earth, however both of those site take me on about 240 miles or so of I-95. I know that is the quickest route, however I would like the route planned for maximun road and viewing enjoyment, not speed. I am not sure how far US 17 goes south in VA (or even if it turns into another similar road through NC and SC).

Any help that you could provide would be appreicated.

Thanks

Kris

Rt. 17 will take you to and through Myrtle Beach. If you really want a scenic run, head down Rt. 17, then vear off towards the Outer Banks, taking SC 12 along the Banks. Catch the Ferry at the southern end back to the North Carolina mainland and continue south towards Myrtle Beach.

The complete Rt. 17 trip will be faster, but not as scenic.

Enjoy!
