MSR makes fuel storage bottles (msrcorp.com). I believe their was a recent post in "Touring" about them. I may pick up one before hitting the road this summer.

We've had this trip planned for over a year and my Indian Larry tank broke at the rear mounting bracket, and we're leaving in 2 weeks. for the Grand Canyon the original peanut tank only holds 2 gal. about 85mi. worth of fuel.
