Early spring road trip
A buddy and I will hopefully be leaving a week from Sunday on a 4000+ mile road trip from New England down to Florida, then to Texas, and back home. This is the longest trip but not by much. Last year I did a solo trip of about 3200 miles.

Going down I plan to marathon it and get there in two days. The specific route is not cast in stone but the basic route is: I-81 to Knoxville -> I-59 to Birmingham -> I-65 to Pensacola via Brewton AL. I'll spend a few days in FL with family and then head west via I-10 to San Antonio. It's on the way back that I will take a bit of time and see the sights...maybe the Natchez Trail Pkwy or the Blue Ridge Pkwy.
