Won't be leaving the motel before the sun is up but we will be watching for wildlife. Also the Devils Tower is on our list. We are hoping to catch a rodeo one evening if I can pull myself away from the Irma. The all you can eat prime rib sounds really good.
Try Jake's restaurant in Deadwood. It's in the Midnight Star casino. Great for dinner. Owned by Kevin Cosner. Many of his movie costumes are displayed throughout the casino. Lots of great history in Deadwood also.

We did a ride to Wyoming from Alberta last September. Beartooth pass, Chief Joseph, Hwy 14 Shell Canyon and Hwy16 Buffalo to Ten Sleeps were great floorboard scrapers with fantastic views. Stayed 3 nights in Grey Bull. The Grey Bull Motel has a few houses for rent which worked well for us. Jackson was very expensive and not very "appreciative" of bikers. Riding in Yellowstone was frustrating. Packed with tourists watching everything but the road, RVs and 25 mph speed limits and I prefer Bison on my plate, medium rare. We have lots of parks in Alberta and BC, so the park was not much of a novelty for us, but might be a thrill for others.
Just a note: When you ride down to Jackson, I recommend you ride Teton park road. Hwy 191s will take you to Jackson, but the Teton Park Road is a great ride. It re joins 191 at Moose Jct, just north of Jackson.
Bring some good cold weather gear. I rode through Yellowstone in July in 2010, and there was still snow on the sides of the road on a couple of the passes. We have had a pretty wet spring this year too, so I expect the snow pack up in the higher elevations of the park is pretty good.
On another note, I saw an article on the web that they have started plowing Beartooth. Hopefully that will be open for you when you get there. It opens end of May, but weather up that high can change that pretty quick.

That's our plan. Thinking of riding up signal mountain if time permits.
Went over the Beartooth last August, it was over 100f in the park and about 40f with light rain over the pass. Still a great ride.
Staying around the central part of the park would have been best for me, I couldn't find a camp site in the park on short notice. I found Yellowstone to take pretty much a full day to cross when in tourist mode. It would have made some pretty long days in the saddle if I had not packed up camp every day. It was much easier to find a place to stay once I was outside the park so I found it easiest to move across the park every day.
