I have been planning a trip to the Beckley WV area. I have the maps from the tourism bureau and have a lot of great rides planned out.

My question is with all of the flooding and problems there are in that area should I reconsider? I am going in 2 weeks. I know White Sulphur Springs was flooded and that was going to be one of my stops.

Thanks for any info the locals can provide.

I am interested in this too. I'll be passing through there in a couple days. Wondering about the availability of rooms around Huntington, too.

I just rode back up through southern WV and while they're busy cleaning up debris and slides you shouldn't have any problem. Some low bridges over creeks may be washed away or damaged. This was near Clendenon.
