Trip Around Lake Superior

Just got back from our trip around Lake Superior. The scenery was great!! Glad we made motel reservations. At just about every stop, the desk clerk was turning down people looking for a room. Talked to a couple who were riding from Nipigon ON to Sault Ste Marie On. because everything was full in Wawa. Took 7 days and had each days route in the GPS and used Ride Planner to set it up. Anyone thinking about making the trip....do it. You won't regret it. The wife said she would leave tomorrow and do it again.

Went around it last week also. Saw a moose in the ditch an hour north of the Sault that had been road kill. I have yet to see an alive one. The trip around that lake is one of my favorite.

I saw the same moose. Kick myself for not going back and taking a look and a photo. Looked pretty big. Other than that, think the only other road kill we saw were 2 skunks. Thought we would have seen deer, coon and other critters.
