Adventures with the "Scorpios"
Well I have to say this really sucks. We just had our first hint of snow this morning. Wet flurries along with rain.
With the forecast the way it is, it looks like to the man cave with the heat on for the next while.
Next April/May can’t come soon enough!
Happy Halloween!
Cheers, Terry

Although we never planned on going back to Playa this year we heard some stories about the building we were in. Rent raised to $3500 US per month and thats “IF” you can even get someone to rent to you that way. (The units are going for like 2 grand a week) We don’t even believe our owner is still there. We think they ran his Quebec rear end out of town. As you can see I’m being polite as he scammed us for some of our deposit.
We are however heading south but not till later. You will see our posts on here as I plan on updating through the winter months.
Enjoy your winter time in the warmth!

Well, I think it’s finally time to concede. The riding season is pretty much over. The Harley is backed into the man cave, tank full of fuel, and finally bit the bullet Friday and put the battery tender on.
There is a ride scheduled today for one of the local riding groups called the “Chilli Run”. Although they are predicting warm enough temps, they are calling for rain, and lots of it. 25-44 mm which is 1-2 inches so with that forecast we have no choice but to head to the man cave for a couple of cold ones.
Like Rocky I will post a nice pic from down south in the Caribbean to help keep us comfy with warm thoughts.
As I said earlier I will be posting when we do get south.
Cheers, Terry

Our original plans for next summer (2018) were to load up the Harley and trailer west. Stops were planned in Sturgis and then onto to Portland Oregon and ride the Pacific Coast Highway. Unfortunately, we are going to have to opt out of those plans.
Our next summer is already way too busy, and there is no way we can find the time to fit everything in. We have two weddings (one of which is my son’s) and two motorcycle excursions already booked.
Yesterday, we booked our accommodations for the 115th Harley Anniversary in Milwaukee, and had previously booked the “Hog for Hospice” weekend in August in Leamington Ontario.
As they say better to be busy, and since venturing into retirement we often wonder how we ever had time to work.
Looking forward to heading south soon.
Will post pics of our adventures from there!
Pics attached from last year down south.
Cheers, Terry

The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
There was another on the adjacent vacant property next door to our building.
These murals are awesome and talented people.
Enjoy the weather when you get there!
