Adventures with the "Scorpios"
Thursday evening and Friday morning we gave Dad a resounding send off. The wake was held back at our place on Friday with plenty of eats and beverages.
We toasted Mom and Dad (a few times lol) and shared many stories of our childhood memories with my two brothers and sister.
The Sarnia Legion Branch 62 conducted a memorial service Thursday evening.
Dad was a proud Legion member for 57 years and many friends and family attended.
Cheers, Terry
At the wake at our house. My niece Lindsay’s little guy Jace. Harley Davidson is in good shape for the future!

As I said in earlier posts I would be sending updates once we got to a southern location. So here we are!
Yesterday, Friday December 1st, we left out of Detroit Metro Airport (up at 3 am lol) on our journey south. First stop was Fort Lauderdale Florida, Then switch planes, and another flight to Belize City, Belize. Once landed there we took another smaller plane (14 seater) to the island of Ambergris Caye, Belize.
This island has been a favourite spot of Suzie and I since we were last here 4 years ago.
Today is a beautiful warm day, and after 13 hours of flying, and a well deserved rest overnight, it allows me to update the thread here.
I will post pictures throughout our 2 week stay here.
Enjoy!
Cheers, Terry
At Belize City Airport
Our Transportation to Ambergris Caye.
Arrived at San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, Belize.
View from our room!
After 13 hours of flying, time to relax and enjoy a cerveza!
We have had a couple of days to wander around and reminisce of our visit here from 4 years ago. Much of the island is still the same and it has recovered well from the hurricane of 2016.
Today we will venture into San Pedro. It is a short walk up the beach from our resort.
Attached are some of the pictures from our last couple of days.
Enjoy!
Cheers, Terry
Beach area south of us.
One of the many piers on the island.
Suzie at lunch at a beach bar just south of our resort.
Our apartment at the resort.
The pier at our resort. Dive and fishing charters go out of here daily.
Suzie on the dock at the end of the pier.
A beautiful rainbow during late afternoon sea mist. It was raining somewhere!
A full moon scene from our balcony!
The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
As you said very laid back compared to Playa.
Cheers, Terry
