Adventures with the "Scorpios"
Today is the first day of summer. With our weather being unpredictable lately we thought today we would take advantage great forecast.
Today we once again travelled up Highway 21 along the Lake Huron shoreline.
Our destination was the "Albion" in Bayfield, Ontario. A nice little restaurant that holds a "bike night" every Tuesday evening during the summer months. (Of course our plan was to venture there last night but rain ruined that outing) Also, we made a stop along the way in Grand Bend at a new winery. It was a great day for riding and the pics are attached.
Enjoy folks!
First stop was a new winery just off Hwy 81 south of Grand Bend, Ontario. The Dark Horse winery located adjacent to the Huron County Playhouse.
Suzie and I outside the entrance to the Dark Horse winery.
The front foyer inside the winery. They host tours and weddings at this facility.
Tour schedule and the Vats in the background.
Tasting area and shelves of wine for sale. And yes of course Suzie purchased a couple of bottles!

Hi Folks.
Today's was a shopping day for the girls so Paul and I decided on a trip to Strathroy Ontario. We went to a new Motorcycle shop called "Scotty's Cycle Shop". Scott and his wife just recently opened their business and thought we would stop in and see what they had to offer.
Many thanks to Scott for spending the time chatting with us today!
Check them out if you are in the area. 133 Head Street Strathroy.
Website is www.scottyscyclechoppe.ca

Tonight's ride took us to a small town not too far from London, Ontario. A little place called Ilderton. We have been there in the past to a nice English Pub type restaurant with great food. It's called the "King Edward" and is about an hour trip from Sarnia with a few nice back roads to take on the journey.
Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate with us on the way home as we ran into spotty rain for most of the ride.
Thanks to Katie & George for the action pictures as we rode along tonight.

The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
Absolutely it is a great way to get into Southern Ontario. I have done that ferry ride a few times and it is awesome.
But, it really depends on what route you want to take to get to the east.
I only say that because once you get this far south in Ontario the options are minimal. Getting you through Toronto on the 401 highway will be a sh*t show any time of day or even night.
We dont even travel through Canada when we go to the east coast. We bypass parts of Ontario and Quebec.
Best you text me and we can discuss. I will send you a PM.
Cheers and ride safe my friend!
Terry
