Speaking of GPS's---
A couple of years ago I was riding with two cousins and we were on a two lane road in MS farming country heading north towards Memphis, TN and it was getting close to lunchtime.
I decided to use my GPS to search for a good local restaurant with home cooking.
The sun was very bright and directly overhead so I had to pull my sun glasses down and look over them to be able to read the info on my GPS.
I had my face pretty close to the GPS screen and had located a popular local diner and I was getting directions when a very, very low flying crop duster plane few right over my head!:icon _eek:
My cousins were following me and hey thought it was hilarious, and right after I changed my underwear I agreed.
I use Google Maps in my Mac Laptop do detailed routes (I need to do something when I am NOT riding) and then can see them in my iPhone for referencing. I have to think it will give voice directions through my stereo but have not tried it. I am doing my best to sort out the onboard (Garmin) one in my '017. It is clumsy and cumbersome. To bad Harley never phoned Google Maps, which I find SO easy to use, and say " Hey, gives us some of that will ya?"
