Dayton Bike week
Sick of the cold and thinking about trailering down to Florida and staying 1or 2 nights in Dayton for bike week.
The issue is rooms are over $200 a night in the area, what area do you who go stay

You could stay as far away as Palm Coast, to North, Deland, to West, or New Smyrna, to South and still be close enough to ride into Daytona.
I am hauling my camper down and camping in Samsula, near the Cabbage Patch. You can also tent camp there pretty cheap if you don't want to pay the jacked up motel prices.

That is still affordable for bike week and plenty going on in Ormond. If you are looking for a $65/night room, you are not going to find it.

Thanks for the reply, only going for one or two nights so going to bite the bullet and stay at a nice hotel close by and they head to the Key’s

I normally stay at the Days in on Ridgewood or Federal highway with 3-5 other guys. room is real cheap then.
Lately staying at the Hilton on Speedway. Ok a bit pricey maybe.
Try the Hilton (Hampton or Hilton Garden Inn) at Lake Mary.
Or......look for a place to stay further and further away from Daytona for the prices will drop off of course.
